After taking the advice of countless people, we've decided to "give the people what they want" this New Year's Eve. The evening will be a themed affair, incorporating some exciting James Bond elements throughout the first floor of the hotel. The dress is creative Bond attire - everything from formal black tie and gown to hotel bathrobe and bikini.

DJ Cutler and Dan Harper and The Magic Show will be back (from The Witches Ball), playing some Bond tunes for all to enjoy. We’re also bringing in a portion of the 70 member Buffalo Niagara Concert Band to fill the air with big band style music in The Grand Ballroom. They recently played The Mary Seaton Room at Kleinhans and “wowed” the audience with some amazing dance tunes.

Throughout the night there will be Bond girls, video projections, an ice luge, a surprise count down led by the orchestra, cigarette girls with party favors, Vegas showgirls, a visit from the Queen of England... additional music acts and performances to be announced. It's going to be a ton of fun.

There are two ticket prices:

A $40 ticket gets you in the door with one free Bond-style One Roq drink (or Pyramid and Labatt) and a free champagne toast at midnight. There will be cash bars and food options so that you can customize your night and and your spendings. This ticket is also designed for guests who are planning on eating before the event... might I suggest Pan Am Bar and Grill or Mike A's Steakhouse? Or for those who want to pay for a quick bite at the party... Mike A (prime rib sandwiches) and AcQua (carving station among others) will both have inexpensive food items for sale.


A $100 ticket gets you four hours of eating and drinking catered by AcQua in The Crystal Ballroom (8pm-midnight). Featuring a four-hour Open Premium Bar Package served from 8:00 p.m. to Midnight. Specialty One Roq Signature Drinks, Butler Served hors d' ourves and Lavish hors d'oeuvre display station, reception featuring the Carver's Table with Prime Meats and Interactive Specialty Food Stations. Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Casino Party Fund Raiser

Shuffle Up and Deal!

Each year Tops Market supports the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation by raising money to find a cure. Every Tops store in Buffalo, NY and throughout Western New York with the generosity of their customers raise thousands of dollars to help find a cure.

This year Tops Market #118 in East Aurora, NY teamed up with the American Legion Post and Uptown Entertainment to create a FUN Casino Party. The sun was shining on the guests that came out to support JDRF Sunday afternoon. The Money raised will help get one step closer to finding a cure. Everyone had the opportunity to win many baskets that were donated along with a Pick a Card Drawing for Gift Cards and many raffles.


Many of the local businesses sponsored assorted casino tables to create the Fun for the afternoon. Thank you to Aurora Liquors, Try-It Distributing, Five Star Bank, East Aurora American Legion Ladies Auxilary, Terry's Photo Studio, East Aurora Advertiser, Kiss-N-Greens Golf Club, EWE Bee Acres and Tops Market #118.


The ladies auxiliary from the East Aurora American Legion worked hard in the kitchen to supply the attendees with a great meal. The Tops Market #118 associates staffed the raffle tables and raffles.

Uptown Entertainment supplied the Casino Tables for the entertainment of the attendees and the music. Uptown was also happy to help with Emceeing the event and the basket raffles.

On behalf of Tops Market #118 from East Aurora and The American Legion East Aurora Post and the staff from Uptown Entertainment, we want to send a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone that attended and made this a very successful event.
